Home scenes controlled by brainwaves

Lying still on the bed, the surrounding electrical appliances with the brain's intention to change and automatic operation - this once "very science fiction" scene is now a reality. In the recently held Guangzhou International Building Electrical Technology and Intelligent Home Exhibition, Xiamen Yingqi Technology Co., Ltd.'s brand "Yingqi Intelligent" and Beiyang Ruiheng joint release of brain-controlled intelligent home products.

At the exhibition site of the brain-controlled smart home experience area, surplus interest intelligent set up "relaxation light, blinking color change" interactive link, the audience put on Xmuse brainwave instrument, you can use brainwaves to control the home scene. According to reports, Xmuse brainwave instrument through the EEG technology, recording the cerebral cortex tiny electrical signals, reflecting the neuron activity state, capture micro-movements to determine the user's current state, so that the space of the smart home for the user services.

China's first national standard for furniture carbon footprint approved for project

The National Standardization Administration Committee issued the third batch of recommended national standard plans and related standards in 2024, and the national standard of "Product Carbon Footprint Product Category Rules for Furniture" led by Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Quality Inspection of Light Industrial Products was approved for the project.

One of the seven major projects in the National Standardization Strategy Outline, "Carbon Peak, Carbon Neutral Standardization Upgrading Project" is the necessary standard guarantee for China to achieve the goal of carbon peak in 2030 and carbon neutral in 2060, and the "Carbon Peak Action Plan before 2030" explicitly proposed to "explore the establishment of a carbon footprint standard for the whole life cycle of key products. The "Carbon Peak Action Program by 2030" explicitly proposes to "explore the establishment of full life cycle carbon footprint standards for key products". The product category rule is an important foundation for the refinement and standardization of the whole life cycle evaluation and its practical application. Combining the current green and low-carbon environment and the urgent need to promote the work of "dual-carbon" in China, the Provincial Light Industry Quality Inspection Institute has taken the lead in proposing the rules for furniture product categories, establishing a unified framework through standardized methods for evaluating the carbon footprints of furniture products in the whole life cycle stage, in order to support the furniture enterprises in evaluating and reporting on the impact of their products on the environment, and thus to Promote green and low-carbon development of enterprises, form industry practice cases and improve market competitiveness.

China is the world's first furniture production, export and consumption of large countries, the development of the national standard of "Product Carbon Footprint Product Category Rules Furniture" will fill some of the gaps in the basic standards for evaluating the low-carbon attributes of the furniture industry, which is of great significance in standardizing the quantification and communication of the carbon footprint evaluation of furniture products, and at the same time, CIFF shanghai will also provide strong support for the green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of China's furniture industry.
