01 Typical equipment for different processes of customized furniture

(1) Cutting process

Saw equipment is the most commonly used cutting equipment for panel furniture. According to whether it is equipped with information control system, cutting saw can be divided into electronic saw and manual table saw. Electronic saw processing using matching fixtures to clamp the board, through the movement of the tool to complete the sawing route.

Electronic saw feeding mode has front-end feeding and back-end feeding, front-end feeding requires manual feeding, back-end feeding electronic saws can be with intelligent storage system to complete the automatic feeding.

Single-arm CNC machining centers (CNC) is another commonly used equipment, its spindle and the plate plane perpendicular to the automatic tool change to achieve a variety of edge shapes, but also in the opening of the material at the same time to complete the slotting, cutting corners, drilling holes and other work.

(2) Sealing process

(3) Drilling process

Row drilling is the earliest drilling equipment applied in 32 mm system, according to the number of rows of drilling can be divided into single row drilling, three rows of drilling and so on, through the installation of different drills in each drill bit, as well as adjusting the spacing of each row of drilling to adapt to the needs of drilling in different parts of the furniture.

This means that row drilling takes a lot of time to commission when making a new product, and once it is commissioned it has a very high machining efficiency, so customized companies still use it to process the standard part of the order.

Single-arm CNC machining centers can also be used to drill holes in addition to open stock, but like row drills they can usually only finish one side of a part at a time.

The drilling equipment commonly used by customized companies for flexible manufacturing is horizontal CNC drilling, which is divided into six-sided drilling and five-sided drilling according to the number of surfaces that can be processed at the same time, which can be applied to the assembly line layout, also known as pass-through CNC drilling.
