What is the mission of design?
Drawing on the energies of our time—from the internet and new media to parametric design, space exploration, virtual worlds, AI, biodiversity, transportation innovation, urban life, and sustainability — it redefines a new set of “symbolic motifs” for both the present and the future.
From this reflection, “Design as Growth” was born— an inevitable evolution from deconstruction to construction. It is the “root” firmly anchored in the fertile soil of the industry, and the “leaves” that continue to grow upward in exploration.
