The furniture industry is facing growing demands for personalization, quality, faster delivery, and cost control. As designs become increasingly diverse and orders become more fragmented, manufacturers need more stable processes, more flexible production lines, and better-controlled costs.

From September 5–8, 2026, the CIFF Shanghai WMF will bring together morethan 400exhibitors from China and abroad, covering an exhibition area of52,000 square meters. It will showcase end-to-end solutions covering the entire production chain, from primary wood processing and engineered panel manufacturing to panel furniture, solid wood, surface treatment, upholstered furniture production, and smart factories.

This year, CIFF Shanghai WMF will, for the first time, go beyond the traditional boundary between machinery and finished furniture, working with CIFF Shanghai furniture exhibitors on cross-disciplinary collaborative creation.

Furniture brands including Guan Mujiang, LINSY, COOMO, Yinzhuo, CHAQU, and chuhu will bring their original solid-wood furniture pieces to CIFF Shanghai WMF. Woodworking machinery, materials, and process companies will respond to design requirements from the manufacturing side, jointly demonstrating how a piece of furniture evolves from an initial creative concept into a finished product through material selection, five-axis machining, curved-surface forming, precision mortise-and-tenon joinery, sanding, and finishing.

On display will be Guan Mujiang's “Monet Flip-Door Wide Display Cabinet,” LINSY's “Vintage Solid-Wood Dining Chair,” COOMO's “Huineng Lounge Chair,” Yinzhuo's “Wanjuan Chair,” as well as CHAQU's “Moon-Cave Side Table” and “Starry Sky Bedside Cabinet.” Each piece is not only the result of design, but also a three-dimensional demonstration of woodworking technology, material application, and manufacturing precision.

How can a panel be processed with greater precision? How can an edge be sealed more securely? How can a curved surface be reproduced consistently at scale? How can a production line switch smoothly between multiple orders and finishes? These questions may appear to be confined to the factory floor, but they are increasingly determining the future quality, efficiency, and growth potential of furniture companies.

From September 5–8, 2026, at Halls 7.1 & 8.1 of CIFF Shanghai WMF, discover the next stage of furniture manufacturing in one place—from machinery and processes to materials and complete production-line solutions.
