Living Form Design Studies

LFDS is a furniture design brand founded by designers Xiong Zhijian and Zhang Junhan. Conceptually, it is a collective design practice that seeks to continue the agenda of modernist design through a critical perspective. They believe that designers are, first and foremost, living individuals with social identities and responsibilities. From this standpoint, LFDS questions the categorization and stylization of homeware and accessories as consumer goods, using home product design as a vehicle for critical thinking and as an outcome with broader relevance.
