XIN DESIGN STUDIO is a Shanghai-based design studio centered on furniture design, while also exploring lighting, homeware, and spatial design. Across different scales of practice, we investigate the relationships between materials, structures, and everyday life. We believe design is not only about function, but also about the relationship and emotional experience between people and objects. Every work begins with a simple question and gradually takes shape through the repeated refinement of materials, craftsmanship, and structure. What we hope to create is not simply new forms, but new ways of understanding—allowing people to discover new possibilities within familiar things, enabling design to naturally integrate into everyday life and gain value over time.
