According to the China International Furniture Expo, the 2026 Shenzhen Smart Home Industry Ecosystem Development Conference was grandly held, at which two core industry documents were officially released: "Ten Scenarios for Innovative Application of 'Smart Home + AI'" and "Ten Measures for Industrial Innovation and Application of 'Smart Home + AI'", drawing a clear path for the transformation and upgrading of Shenzhen's smart home industry. Previously, the conference had simultaneously launched the "Shenzhen Smart Home Industry Ecosystem Map (2026)". A series of major achievements are working in tandem, pushing the industry to completely bid farewell to the single-product sales model and accelerate its transformation into a full-scenario solution service provider.

The ten innovative application scenarios released this time deeply rely on AI technology to reconstruct the full-dimensional experience of home life, achieving a leapfrog upgrade of smart homes from passive command response to proactive intelligent service. The scenarios cover all aspects of home life: relying on AI butlers to achieve autonomous perception and proactive service of home devices, creating a personalized smart home system; building a full-chain protection model of home health monitoring, intelligent analysis, and proactive intervention, combined with AI sleep optimization and smart dietary matching, to comprehensively upgrade the quality of home health life. At the same time, innovatively creating AI smart studies and immersive audio-visual spaces to meet family education and entertainment needs, and achieving refined pet care and home smart exercise and fitness through intelligent linkage. In addition, the scenario system simultaneously improves elderly-friendly smart services, relying on functions such as remote monitoring, fall alarms, and emergency calls to empower the silver-haired home life, connecting the full-chain interconnection of people, vehicles, and homes, truly realizing the convenient smart experience of "getting in the car means arriving home".

The ten industrial innovation measures released in conjunction focus on the pain points of industry development and difficulties in upgrading, providing systematic support for high-quality industrial development from multiple dimensions such as technology R&D, ecosystem building, standard construction, and market expansion. Shenzhen will focus on advancing AI and smart home technology breakthroughs, developing home terminal products equipped with on-device large models and AI agents, and innovating smart home interaction modes. Relying on the HarmonyOS ecosystem to build a public service platform, construct an independently controllable local industrial ecosystem, continuously promote cross-border integration of smart homes with fields such as big health, education, security, and travel, and create replicable and promotable industry benchmark solutions.

At the industrial development level, Shenzhen will accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of smart homes, establish a green product evaluation system, and rely on AI technology to achieve intelligent control of home energy efficiency. At the same time, actively participate in industry standard formulation, build an interconnected local standard system, and help small and medium-sized enterprises gain industry discourse power. Focusing on popular tracks such as the silver economy and stock home decoration, deeply cultivate the R&D of elderly-friendly smart products and the promotion of open-source HarmonyOS elderly care models, promote the deep integration of traditional home decoration and smart homes, and activate the old house renovation stock market. In addition, the local government will deepen industry-education integration, cultivate compound professional talents in smart homes, build characteristic labor service brands, and rely on digital home and smart community construction to connect the chain between home services and urban public governance. At the same time, help industry enterprises go overseas in groups, deeply cultivate Southeast Asian and North American overseas markets, and promote the industry to upgrade from product export to all-round output of technology, standards, and brands.
