Jointly created by the Shenzhen Institute of Interior Design and CIFF

Shanghai, the Design FACE+ Theme Exhibition serves as an innovative

experimental platform integrating industry, design, and research. With art

as its core and design as its medium, it breaks through traditional industry

boundaries and merges art, technology, humanistic insight, and daily life

needs into a sustainable, narrative-driven design ecosystem — making art

the central thread that connects everything.

The 2025 second edition of Design FACE+ adopts the theme “The Awaken-

ing of Art-Tech Perception.” Collaborating with the Shenzhen Original Art

Association, Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange, Shanghai YANG Art

Museum, and Shanghai New Frontier Art, the exhibition continues its vision

of “dual integration between art and design,” allowing art to return to life’s

essence and design to embody the soul of art. By positioning art as the

driving force for innovative living paradigms, Design FACE+ constructs

immersive scenes that blend humanity, business, technology, and daily life.

It aims to establish “Art × Design” transboundary solutions, showcasing

pioneering practices in art derivatives, digital fabrication, and sustainable

craftsmanship. The exhibition seeks to propel the evolution of home

aesthetics — from function-driven to art-driven — while providing a replica-

ble, cross-industry model for collaborative innovation.
